Brays Residence

Our project at Brays is a spectacle of Contemporary Mediterranean Architecture. The design realises the classic Mediterranean style into the modern era defined by its classic white raw texture rendered facade contrasted with striking black steel frame arches accentuating the soft curved edges against the linear boxlike form. The entry is delineated by a lavish protruding barrel arched pavilion emphasising the grandeur and scale of the project. The oculus skylights intertwined with the generous floor to ceiling openings illuminates the household bringing natural light to every space acting as a prominent passive design feature. The Brays Residence has become a calling card for a revitalisation in traditional Mediterranean Architecture serving as a prime example of a recontextualised home thriving in the contemporary architectural landscape.
